Looking for online scrabble?

Are there any online or downloadable versions of the classic scrabble game .. something that pretty much follows the original..... not a variation on it..

preferably where one player can play against the computerLooking for online scrabble?
Try Literati on Yahoo.

It uses an American English dictionary, but besides a few strange 2 letter words, and the obvious differences (colo(u)r, hono(u)r etc) you can pick it up pretty quickly. It's worth sticking with.
You can also use http://www.scrabblecheat.org to improve your game. It has a complete literati solver.

Quadplex is pretty good. I used to get irritated at those 2 letter words and tried not to use them, except in the final stages of a game, but I've realised that if you play Scrabble at anything other than basic level you will need to use them. Some are obscure but many are not, for example the words for the letters of the alphabet, such as 'em', and 'er' is a word we use all the time in speech. The game becomes as much a game of strategy and tactics as knowledge of words. It depends what typt of game you want to play. By the way, 'za' is not admissable but 'zo' is a good old favourite.Looking for online scrabble?
I really don't know. I play facebook scrabble but that uses the most obscure un-English words which is very annoying, but it is fun and you get used to it. If I play at home with a friend, I kind of play a different game without using the non-English words. I think because it is played all over the world via internet, it has become more international and using words thatEenglish speaking people use but are not necessarilyEenglish like WEDA which is South African for YOU LOL. But strangely enough it won't accept Welsh words!

If you find a game that's all English LET ME KNOW !! :-)
Pogo! You can do it onlne, talk, play against computers.Different levels too! Even the robot's!
