It supports Macs, but there are some minor things like chat shortcuts that don't fully work with a Mac.
It's free (although you get additional benefits if you become a contributory member, like being able to examine finished games turn by turn with a computer pointing out better plays, etc).
You just download a client program called Wordbiz.
Very popular site, used by beginners all the way up to world champions, and also supports play in various different languages, time preferences, challenge preferences, etc.
