Most of the things I've seen on here say, "duh, of course you can make plurals" and that all you have to do is to prove that the word is in the dictionary and you can pluralize it, but I'm skeptical. How come this list http://www.hasbro.com/scrabble/en_US/2to3List.cfm on the scrabble/hasbro website doesn't have "s's" for a bunch of the two letter words? I'm particularly noting the missing "za" and "qi" from this list, and it doesn't show any ending s's in the dictionary on their site as well. For an all-inclusive word list, download the free program Zyzzyva. It has a word judge that is used in scrabble tournaments ans it includes all the plurals.
It can be used offline and is very user friendly.

The solution is a complete word list. That would be TWL in the US and SOWPODS internationally.
If you own an iPhone or iPod Touch then I highly recommend the $.99 app Word Check. It includes those two dictionaries and three others.
For Macs, there is a free Dashboard widget called SOWPODS/TWL Word Checker.
For almost any recent operating system, there is also the free Zyzzyva.
