I have used Google AdSense on Scrabulous - http://www.scrabulous.com - where users can play Scrabble online.?

I would like to know if I can improve my CTR by changing the position of the ads? I get lots of hits everyday buy CTR is just above 1%. Can I improve this in any way without changing the design significantly? Thanks for any advice!I have used Google AdSense on Scrabulous - http://www.scrabulous.com - where users can play Scrabble online.?
Check Google's heat map as they have tested where the best placements are https://www.google.com/support/adsense/b鈥?/a>

Also experiment on the Ad colors - sometimes ads blended into the content works wonders, but sometimes ads that contrast your site colors work best

The main issue with your site, however, is the responsiveness of audience to the ads. A travel website that provides information on travel to Spain will attract visitors looking for ways to arrange their travel and spend money on their vacation to Spain. Your site provides the info, but the ads will provide hotels, travel agencies, tourist destinations, car rentals -- ads that are likely to get the attention of the users of your site. This is a site that will most likely do well with Adsense.

However, your website where the main purpose of the user is to play games on your site, then Adsense will not perform as well. You may be able to increase CTR by a few percent, but your revenues will still be limited.I have used Google AdSense on Scrabulous - http://www.scrabulous.com - where users can play Scrabble online.?
Put the ads right at the top.I have used Google AdSense on Scrabulous - http://www.scrabulous.com - where users can play Scrabble online.?
I would think your issue has more to do with content. As a free scrabble site, the majority of the ads are for scrabble related products. Not much sense in trying to sell a cow, when you give away the milk for free!
