Can I play Scrabble online?

I have Scrabble 2004 but it won't log me in to the UBI server, I would like to play against my girlfriend when I am at home, is there a game I can buy which will let me connect to her computer so we can play?Can I play Scrabble online?
There used to be an awesome online website and a Facebook app you might have heard of both called Scrabulous. They no longer exist thanks to the good graces of the combined legal might of Hasbro and Mattel. The Scrabulous people created two other things as replacements that still exist: Wordscraper on Facebook which allows you to design your own board--even a Scrabble board if you know the layout--and your own tile distributition--you could do a Scrabble one if you knew it and if they had blanks which they don't. The other, Lexulous was a perfect clone of Scrabble, but in the past week, they succumbed to legal pressure from Hasbro and Mattel giants. Now they're still there but they made changes to the board design etc..



I'm a purist so those two are dead to me, personally.



Hasbro and EBGames made their own "Scrabble BETA" that isn't nearly as good but at least its still standing and legally no one's going to push them around. Karma does not seem to apply to monopolies.



Hasbro also joined with Pogo.com to make a web game with rooms, chat, points, ratings and all that jazz, but again, its not as good as Scrabulous though I'm biased against them for killing their superior competitors.



There is one more relatively little-known option which is what I resort to nowadays. http://www.isc.ro/ You download an app called Wordbiz and that lets you work with their server and you sign up for a username A.K.A. handle. The interface/user interaction could be better. But it is a fully featured Scrabble clone. If you use a Mac you have to hit tab before starting to type a word onto the board. It too has ratings, chat, and a help thingie to help you out if you get stuck.



With the two non-facebook options you MUST play with some settable time limit, facebook ones do not require that. Thats everything I know! Hope it helps!

the only one that i know of is on pogo.com. i have played there before but just against the computer. if u guys sign up (its free) then go to the same room, u can play each other

It's a short, free download, and a great place to play against friends, and others throughout the world.
